"Your alcoholism will kill you before your HIV does,” says a doctor to one of our characters. Worldwide, alcohol abuse kills more people than HIV, nearly 2.5 million per year. Yet what the public believes, and Alcoholics Anonymous purports, “Once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic,” is not as true as you think. Nor is the fundamental principle for treating alcoholism that we all take as truth; abstinence.
Science has shown that abstinence not only doesn’t take away the addiction, but also increases the craving. So why has one modality dominated our thought since the 1930’s? Why are profitable rehab facilities reluctant to change? And why are millions of people still being denied the opportunity of a simple life saving method and drug that have been FDA approved since 1994?
One Little Pill takes an in depth look at a simple, safe method with success rates of 78%, the suppressing obstacles surrounding it, and those people just now finding it. This character driven film will leave you compelled to help spread the word that "Options Save Lives."
I love Claudia’s doco she is an angel Ty xx but I still don’t understand the method of using 50 mg of Naltrexone. Take one pill one hour before drinking and .... for the first few weeks do you take a pill every day? Then once under control do you only use the pill when intending to have a drink?
I have order Dr Eskarpa’s book which will take a week to arrive by mail. I have the 50mg Naltrexone tablets in my hot little hand and I want to use it ASAP.
Any help please.
Naltrexone is a prescription medication in most of the world and your doctor should have given you instructions when it was prescribed to you. The C Three Foundation website has a page of resources for those just beginning to use the Sinclair Method, and if you do not have a doctor who is versed in TSM we have lists of doctors. You can access all of our free resources here: https://www.cthreefoundation.org/resource-menu-self.html
HI I just ordered the pills online through I link from the sinclairmethod.com website. The doctor I spoke to that has prescribed them to me told me the following. Do not drink for three days and on day 4 take 1/4 of a pill one hour before I drink and do that for 2 days, on the 3rd day take 1/2 pill for 2 days and then on the next day take one whole pill and continue to do so on the days that I drink. I am not at all saying that is for everyone but it is what he told me to do. I've been to rehab 6 times so if this works for me it will literally be a miracle. God bless on your journey!
Thankyou for the info. I’m In Australia and while naltrexone is available on prescription Doctors know very little/nothing about the Sinclair Method. My Doc was willing to write the script but told me to be abstinent before starting the naltrexone and gave me Valium to deal with the alcohol withdrawal. Also I have to attend counselling.
I wasn’t going to explain TSM to her or argue about the correct protocol for fear she would reneg I just wanted THAT script. I have the info now thanks to you and the C three foundation. I am starting today 9th April. My life is brilliant I have retired and I just want to remove this monkey from my back so I can live long enough to enjoy the last 3rd of my life.
Best wishes to all at the foundation and especially to Cluadiia
I had my first 50mg pill yesterday one hour before I drank. I had nil side effects, I drank a bottle and half of white wine over the day a little less than normal. Very weird to drink and still be mentally sober. I am sticking with the Sinclair Method.
I am so excited this going to work and I will be able to do all the things I want without factoring my drinking into every part of my life. The method you are following will hopefully get you to the same place. Good luck with your journey.
I like you, I have been searching for most of 40 years to try and understand my intermittent binge behavior.
I have tried everything to drink normally. My friends have identified me a "the identified patient". There are not many resources in Atlanta, Georgia, believe it or not. I guess I am biased because I am from NYC.
If need be, how can I get the pills from India?
In love and light for all you do,
Hello Kathryn / Claudia,
Just read your blog but I think it may have been a while ago? How's it going? I've just started on this whole process and wondered if you have had a good experience any good experiences you may wish to share? It's day one for me so fingers crossed? Xx
